CVEF Continues to Take Message to the Customer via Exhibits, Seminars at National Trade Events
CVEF has corraled natural gas vehicle, equipment and service suppliers’ support to take a positive NGV message to customers and policymakers at leading niche market conferences and expositions via multi-vendor exhibits, Zones and seminar presentations. In addition to coordinating an NGV Zone at the Clean Cities Conference, upcoming 3rd and 4th quarter 2005 events include:

  • School Transportation News (STN) Conference & Expo, August 2nd, Reno, NV
The STN Expo is a leading national event for school transportation executives. The 1200 ft2 NGV exhibit will feature a John Deere 8.1L CNG engine powered Thomas Saf-T-Liner and a Honda Civic GX along with displays featuring 14 other equipment and service suppliers. In addition, CVEF has secured a one-hour panel discussion on the program featuring three school executives who will discuss their deployment of NGVs.

  • WASTECON, September 27th-29th, Austin, TX.
WasteCON is produced by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), a national trade association representing municipal solid waste and recycling program executives and their private contractors. CVEF’s 600 ft2 exhibit will feature a City of Dallas refuse truck retrofitted by BAF Technologies with an HFS CNG integrated fuel system package. Also featured wil be graphic displays from 11 other NGV equipment and service suppliers.

  • League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo, October 6-7, San Francisco, CA.
CVEF’s 4300 ft2 NGV Zone at League’s Expo at the Moscone Center will feature a series of island exhibits with light- and medium heavy-duty vehicles and more than two dozen NGV equipment and services companies. The road-trip themed Zone will also feature a Clean Air Café, an audio-visual tower display and a variety of promotional activities. Just outside the expo hall, CVEF is also coordinating a Ride-n-Drive and has contracted for NGV shuttles to supplement the League’s delegate transportation program.

  • Empire Environmental and Energy Expo (a.k.a. the “E4”), October 11-12, Saratoga Springs, NY.
Thirteen sponsors will join CVEF in a 640 ft2 exhibit at the EBA’s northeast region conference and expo for energy and environmental policymakers and business leaders. In addition to the inside display, a number of natural gas powered vehicles will be on display outside. CVEF also is working with the show’s hosts, the Enviromental Business Association of New York (EBA) and the Center for Economic and Environmental Partnerships (CEEP) to develop and present an NGV track on the program agenda.
